Trustmark has a long history of being a dedicated community partner, with over 130 years of service to its communities through outreach initiatives and collaborative partnerships that exemplify the company’s core values of Integrity, Service, Accountability, Relationships and Solutions.
Across their six-state footprint, Trustmark encourages its associates to volunteer their time and talents to local organizations and charities to provide meaningful service. And, in addition to volunteerism, Trustmark provides significant financial resources to support community organizations. In 2021 alone, Trustmark provided more than $4.4 million in contributions and sponsorships in their markets, dedicating essential resources to hundreds of organizations to advance economic development, provide financial education to youth and adults alike, enrich arts and culture opportunities, promote conservation of natural resources, and enhance overall health and social services for youth and families.
Realizing the importance of the health and well-being of children and youth, and understanding the valuable and life-changing work that Southern Christian Services performs to provide for youngsters in Mississippi, Trustmark has proudly supported Southern Christian Services for Children & Youth for decades by funding volunteer time for their associates and executives to be engaged with the organization in a variety of capacities, as well as providing annual financial support. And, when the Mississippi Children’s Promise Tax Credit Program was implemented in 2019, Trustmark recognized the opportunity to have a significant and meaningful impact on the lives of children and youth in Mississippi. Participating each year in the Tax Credit Program, Trustmark has contributed a total of $5.5 million to organizations throughout our state. Through this program, Trustmark has funded Southern Christian Services for Children & Youth with gifts totaling $1.3 million.
