ABOUT SCSCY

Southern Christian Services for Children and Youth, Inc. serves children, youth, and families throughout Mississippi through several programs. These programs include therapeutic and non therapeutic foster care for children and youth, transitional living services for youth, state-wide counseling services to children and youth suffering with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, group home care for boys and an adolescent human trafficking home who have experienced abuse and neglect. SCSCY also provides evidence-based parenting classes to parents in early substance abuse recovery and to incarcerated parents for community re-entry-all to decrease child neglect and abuse throughout Mississippi and to help victims of abuse and neglect heal. 

 

BOTTOM LINE FOR KIDS BENEFIT DINNER AND AUCTION 

This year’s 38th Annual Bottom Line for Kids Benefit Dinner and Auction, featured artist Sarah McTaggart, premier and live auction items, hands of providence award, and launching of the new video. The highlight of the event will be a heartwarming story told by one of our very own foster family and a story about our PALS Transitional Youth.

Online Silent Auction Opens Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. through Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 8:00 p.m.

LOCATION

This year's Bottom Line for Kids Benefit is located at the Country Club of Jackson, 345 St. Andrews Drive, Jackson, MS 39211.

SILENT AUCTION

This year's auction will feature premier and live auction items. We will also have our online auction available for anyone not able to attend. All bidding will go through the HANDBID App. Make sure you download the Handbid App prior to Thursday, September 17, 2026 beginning at 6:00 p.m. Once you download the Handbid App, you will automatically get logged in and will be placed in our auction. Search Southern Christian-Bottom Line for Kids Benefit. When you’re ready to start bidding in the app, swipe left or right to access categories and items. Menu in upper left corner contains your profile and invoice information. 

 

1. Set Max Bid and enter the max amount you are willing to spend. Handbid will automatically bid for you up to this price. 

2. Monitor your winning and losing bids! Swipe left and right to access categories and items. Select menu in upper left corner to view your profile, invoices, etc. 

3. Accept push notifications and receive outbid notifications on your phone. 

4. When auction closes, select menu in upper left corner to view and pay your invoice. You can also pay by check when you pick up the item(s).​​
