Meet Marlon Thomas, he is our Senior Adoption Permanency Specialist in the North Region. Marlon started working for Southern Christian Services for Children and Youth, Inc. over ten years ago. He enjoys the family-oriented culture at SCSCY and working with post adoption families.
Marlon has worked with social services and mental health for over 20 years. He has dedicated his adult life serving those who have the heart to serve others and to those who need assistance with the simplest things that we might sometimes take for granted. If you talk to Marlon Thomas, he will tell you how grateful he is each and every day.
During the month of June, we highlighted hero dads and father figures who go over and beyond the call of duty for their families. Marlon states, “I’ve been blessed to work with so many wonderful protectors, providers, and altruistic individuals. According to the Bible, as we are a Christian Organization, it is the man who is to lead the home. I tip my hat to those who are doing all that they can to provide for their families. I also pray for those who are struggling to become the leader that God has decreed them to be.”
