TRANSITIONAL LIVING SERVICES
P.A.L.S. (Preparing Adolescents for Living Successfully) assists homeless
adolescent males and females, including teen parents and their children with
a comprehensive array of services delivered through community outreach,
residential care, and after care. P.A.L.S. staff reach out to young
people who are literally living on the streets and work to stabilize them.
Homeless youth ages 16-21 may be served in the Jackson based P.A.L.S.
residential program which offers counseling, education, life skills
training, health care, opportunities for spiritual growth, recreation and
community involvement. Youth can live in the group home for up to two
years while working on their goals. After care services are provided.
The goal of the P.A.L.S. program is to prepare young people to transition
successfully to independent living. |
